Q1: Can this have an alternative bulb retro-fitted that would render the light to be suitable for dimming?
A1: Unfortunately this runs with a built in LED board that is non dimmable and this cannot be changed
Q2: Can the drop on this light be shortened and if so what is the minimum height required from the ceiling?
A2: Yes, at the point of installation you can adjust the drop, the minimum overall drop is 350mm and this will leave you with approximately 50mm of visible flex, we don't recommend that you shorten it any more than this

A single pendant fitting that is manufactured from aluminium, this has a grey small round-shaped ceiling plate with a braided cable, this comes with a grey bulb holder that attaches to the smoked fume glass shade with a white diffuser on the bottom.
Runs 1 x 22.7 watt 3000k warm white built-in LED module that has a total light output of 907 lumens.
