GLS Light Bulbs
The GLS lamp has always been the most recognised light bulb available for a very long time and it's shape is commonly recognised as the icon for a light bulb. It has been in the British home for many decades now and before recent trends in lighting changed, it was pretty much the only choice the British public could choose from.
Incandescent bulbs in various wattages from 25w - 200w were readily available. However, in today's market the LED versions are rapidly replacing the incandescent GLS. When illuminated, it is very hard to tell the difference between them. They even match the lighting output so you don't loose any of the light that you're used to.
Incandescent, LED and Compact Fluorescent GLS Light Bulbs
Here at The Lighting Superstore we have a huge range of GLS (general lamp service) light bulbs available. They are available in ES (large Edison screw) and BC (large bayonet cap).
For a limited time we still supply incandescent GLS lamps in various wattages. When we say 'limited time' it's because incandescent light bulbs are gradually being phased out in the whole of Europe, and are being replaced by lamps with a much lower energy consumption.
We stock most light outputs in LED GLS lamps in ES and BC versions. If you're unsure or need any advice on GLS lamps then please do not hesitate in giving us a call.
