A1: No, unfortunately it does not have a manual override function.
Q2: Please could you tell me how i change the bulb - how do i take the front of the lamp off? Thank you
A2: The front of the fitting has a screw at the top and bottom, which allows you to remove the from for bulb access. I have added the fitting instructions PDF to the product description for you to look at.
