Q2: Would we be able to shorten the rod part of this light to reduce the drop?
A2: Unfortunately the rod can not be adjusted in height.
Q3: Chrome finish on what metal? Steel? This item looks like it will corrode heavily out of warranty.
A3: The CAD0150 has been constructed from mild steel, with a chrome finish.
Q4: Could you tell me the dimensions of the ceiling plate? Thanks.

Caden IP44 semi-flush bathroom light chrome finish.
This stylish bathroom fitting has a bevelled circular ceiling plate with a single-arm placed centrally, attached to the end of this is a bevelled edge opal glass shade that is held in place with fixing screws, this can be removed very easily for cleaning or changing of the lamp.
Takes 1 x LED E27/ES bulb which does not come supplied with this product.
