Tarik White LED Wall Light 11941-16
Q1: Can the tarik single wall light swivel to point away from the wall it is mounted on? From the illustration it appears to rotate only in the same plane as the wall face. I need 6 spotlights to illuminate shelves opposite the fittings on a corridor wall.
A1: I have checked the supplier catalogue and it shows that the lights swivel side to side, and also tilt back and forth, so they can be pointed away from the wall.
Q2: I wondered what the measurements of the actual base plate are?
A2: The backplate is around 80mm in diameter
Q3: Could you please tell me is the bulb contained within the fitting or does it project beyond it and would be visible thank you
A3: The bulb is contained within the fitting and does not protrude outside of it.
Q4: Could the fitting be up graded with 5watt led (7 off)
A4: Yes, you can replace the bulbs for higher wattage LEDs.
Q5: Can this light be used in the bathroom
A5: We don't recommend using this in a bathroom as it doesn't have an IP bathroom rating. We do have a range of lights suitable for the bathroom and you can find them in the bathroom section, I have put a link below
Bathroom Wall Lights
Q6: Size is said to be:
what is actually being measured? In answer to an earlier question you say that the base diameter is 80mm . So to what do the given dimensions apply? Thanks
A6: The height is measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the head when its facing upwards; the width is measured from the side of the plate to the opposite edge of the head when facing sideways; and the projection is from the wall out to the edge of the head when its facing forward/ outwards
Q7: Would this light be suitable to go above my son's bed as a reading light? Many thanks.
A7: This would be okay to position above your sons bed as for light output it is around 20watts, so should produce enough light for reading
Q8: Can i wire this into 240v?
A8: This can be wired into 240v electrics
Q9: Does it require an earth and what is maximum wattage of led that can be used?
A9: This does require an earth and having checking with the manufacturer they believe a maximum of 7 watts can be put into this light
Q10: Can this be ceiling mounted?
A10: It probably can, however we do advise using it on a wall only
