Q1: Does this fitting include a dusk to dawn sensor, I.e. Can it be completely off during daylight hours with automatic start-up at a chosen light level?
A1: This fitting is not called dusk till dawn, but does have a similar function. It has a basic brightness level meaning it can be set to stay on at a low light level, and then when movement is detected the light will light to full brightness. The light will automatically switch off during daylight hours
Q2: The installation instructions read, "to obtain the specified reach of 5m, The sensor should be installed at a height of approx. 2m". I would like to install at a height of 3m. What would be the effect of increasing the mounting height to 3m?
A2: It could shorten the detection range to less than 5m

L800 exterior security wall light.
A beautifully made, aluminium outdoor downlighter with a built in intelligent high-frequency sensor, with a basic brightness function.
The sensor has been integrated underneath the LED light where it is completely invisible.
It detects any movement over a distance of 5m at an angle of 180° regardless of temperature.
The LED has an expected life span of 50, 000 hours.
Runs with a 8 watt warm white (3000 kelvin) with a 400 lumen output.
Angle of coverage 180°.
Reach 2-5 meter maximum.
Response brightness 2-2000 lux, and has a basic brightness of 10%, meaning it can be set to stay on at a low light level, and then when movement is detected the light will light to full brightness.
The light also has a manual override feature, so it can stay on for up to 4 hours at full brightness when paired with a mains switch.
