A1: The maximum the clamp opens up to is 40mm.
Q2: Would it would it be unsafe to use an incandescent 60 watt bulb with this lamp?
A2: We would not recommend using a higher wattage bulb then 40watt maximum with this product
Q3: Can this be clipped to a vertical board (eg headboard) as well as a horizontal one? Thanks
A3: Yes it can be clipped to a vertical board

This lamp is manufactured from steel and has an open-ended shade, the main body of the lamp and the lighting head are fully adjustable to allow you to position it wherever it is needed, and the clamp on the bottom can be opened to 40mm.
The light is class two double insulated so no earth is required.
Requires 1 x LED ES E27 bulb (not included).
