Q1: How is this light unit fitted to the ceiling and how is the fixing plate accessed? Thank you
A1: The light unit attaches to the ceiling with screws and plugs and the shade unscrews from the unit giving access to the ceiling bracket
Q2: Is the plastic surround flush to the ceiling or should there be a gap?
A2: As far as I'm aware the fitting fits flush to the ceiling with hardly any gap
