Q1: Does this fitting have a separate on/off switch and could it take a low energy bulb
A1: No, this does not have a on/off switch it is mains only and this cannot use low energy bulbs as it takes a G9 type bulb only.

A2: There is a bracket that screws to the wall and the light them screws to this bracket.

Single wall light in a mirror chrome finish.
The main light head is circular in shape and has a frosted glass diffuser at the top and bottom.
It is also attached to a square backplate.
The glass diffusers are easily removed for cleaning and changing of lamps.
Also requires a 1 x G9 LED lamp, which is not included.
Class 1 Requires an Earth..

Light Source: G9 Mains Voltage Halogen.
Alternative Light Source: Retrofit LED Bulbs are also available.
