Q1: I live in a coastal location and need this light to withstand salt. Is it likely to anodise or oxidise or the finish wear off leaving rust spots?
i'd like a two headed simple led light - may be you could recommend something else if you think this won't be suitable

A1: Unfortunately this spotlight is not suitable for coastal locations, we do have a section for lights that are. I posted a link below to all our coastal lights and another link to a light which is similar to this one which is suitable.

Outdoor two headed wall light finished in aluminium.

It has a square back plate with a tubular bulb holder that emits light up and down.

The lamps can be changed very easily by simply unscrewing the caps either side.

Requires 2 x LED GU10 lamps (not included).

This is part of the Tin Range.

Class 1 Requires an Earth..

Finish: Aluminium.

Light Source: LED with a GU10 lamp holder. Fittings that are supplied with non-dimmable GU10 LED bulbs or those supplied without any GU10 bulbs can, in most instances, be made dimmable by installing a dimmable GU10 LED.

Dimming Info: Suitable for dimming when dimmable GU10 LED bulbs are used.

Warranty Period: Two Years.
