Q1: Can this be positioned upside down. I am looking for a down lighter. When you say it requires an earth i assume it just needs normal wiring ?

A1: We do not recommend that you invert this as doing so could compromise the light's ability to prevent the ingress of water and it's very likely that heat from the bulb could damage components or wiring that were not designed to be positioned above the bulb.

Q2: Are you able to advise me of the size of the back plate. I'm wondering how it will fit onto our board & batten cladding. Thanks v much.
A2: The back plate is 100mm by 70mm.

Louvre outdoor wall light, finished in satin silver.

It has a rectangular design wall plate that supports the main light which is tubular, it comes with a polycarbonate diffuser that takes away glare from any emitting lamp and the diffuser is surrounded by a frame.

Requires 1 x ES E27 LED lamp, which is not included.

This is part of the 155 Range.
