A1: Yes indeed it is possible to adjust the timing and the distance sensitivity on this product.
Q2: Does the light turn off during the day automatically
A2: the sensor should only bring the light on when it is dark (depending on the settings) so it should be off during the day.
Q3: Can this light be left on all hours of darkness as our street lights have been switched off. Can you recommend an alternative if not . .
A3: You can leave the light on during the night but it will only illuminate when it detects movement. If you are looking for a light like this, but one that stays on uninterrupted throughout the night then you may want to consider the same product but without the built in sensor (Product 096). You could then use a photocell switch to control it (Product TWSW) as this will leave the light on all night.
