Q1: What is expected life of polycarbonate and can spare diffuser be bought? My existing (different brand) diffusers have degraded and started to dsintegrate
A1: There is no life expectancy listed for these diffusers but this is not a component we expect to degrade for many years. The manufacturer has used marine grade stainless steel for the main body and most certainly has not scrimped on the quality of the materials used to make the rest of the light.

Equinox IP44 stainless steel coastal post light.
This IP44 rated fitting is made from marine grade stainless steel with a polycarbonate lens making it perfect for coastal areas, the post light is cylindrical in shape with the lens mounted on the top.
Requires 1 x LED E27 ES golf ball/candle style bulb that is not included, the bulb is concealed inside the post and shines up through the diffuser when illuminated.
E27 lamps must have a diameter of 55mm or less to fit into the product.
